Some stories don’t just happen, they build themselves, piece by piece, like an ArT Toy shaped by trial, error, and relentless passion.

Back in November 2014, our first‑ever exhibition under the name Art Toy Gama Collective unfolded at GKo Gallery in Tolosa, Spain. We weren’t the Movement we are today; yet. We only had an idea, a vision, and the guts to make it happen.

The show started as a solo exhibition for Cristina A. del Chicca (Art Toy Maison): a dive into the world of her Mageritdoll characters. But in March 2014, our collective was born, and Cristina knew this moment could become something bigger.

So we did what we preach in our Manifesto: we took the Nike approach: Just Do It.

We reached out to international artists we admired, laying out a manifesto-style briefing: Pinocchio, reimagined through ArT Toys: not the fairy‑tale version, but one shaped by innocence, rebellion, philosophy, and even politics.

To our astonishment, they said yes.

Artists from Japan, USA, Italy, France, Chile, Colombia, Argentina, Canada, Indonesia, and Spain joined us. We built a wooden scenography: raw, unpolished, like Pinocchio’s first form, just like the Art Toy scene at the time. The Titirijai Puppet Festival was in full swing, and even the mayor popped in.

This wasn’t just an Exhibition.
It was our first global fingerprint. Our first proof that ArT Toys are a universal language.

Three years later, we returned—even stronger—with an even bigger show at the TOPIC Museum:
"A Journey into the Universe of ART TOYS. A Contemporary Consequence of the Puppets"

Because sometimes, what starts as a carved wooden puppet… becomes something so much bigger.

We stayed in the game. We pushed boundaries. We embodied the spirit that Originals Shape the Future and Dis(Play) is Serious Business.

And now? Across decades. Across platforms.
Here we are, alive, unwavering, writing the future of Art Toy Gama, chapter by chapter.
Because at our core:

We didn’t lose our inner child. We turned it into Art with purpose.
