We didnât lose our inner child. We turned it into ArT Toys and More...with purpose.

ART TOY NEWSLETTER
Sergio Pampliega Campo & Cristina A. del Chicca
Subject: A personal note on one year of Newsletters, ArT Toy storytelling, collectible culture, and the ideas behind our shop and blog.
Youâre reading this because, somehow, for a few minutes, you chose us.
And that still blows our minds.
Back in March 2025, when we started writing three emails a week, we honestly werenât sure we could keep it going.
Three a week sounds innocent.
Until life gets noisy.
Until the blank page stares back.
Until you realize you have to keep finding something true to say.
Part 1
At first, it felt like a dare.
Like trying to build a small cathedral out of sentences and stubbornness.
We thought: maybe weâll last a few weeks. Maybe a month.
A year felt far away.
Part 2
Then something changed.
Writing stopped feeling like a task.
It became a way to think.
A way to notice stories hiding inside objects, habits, memories, fears, shelves, comments, books, brands, films, and random phrases that refused to leave us alone.
Part 3
And no, we havenât always written the same way.
Thank God.
Some emails came out sharper. Some stranger. Some quieter.
We kept testing, changing, reading, studying, listening.
Trying to understand not just what story to tell⌠but how to tell it so it actually reaches you.
Part 4
Then comes the other strange part: language.
Because many of these ideas are born in Spanish, and when we move them into English, something always slips through the cracks.
Translations can become too formal. Too clean. Too polite.
So we keep fighting for the pulse of it.
And honestly? That struggle has become part of the voice too.
Part 5
And then the world answers back.
An email lands one way.
LinkedIn responds another.
Reddit pulls it apart.
Instagram feels it differently.
Facebook, Tumblr, Medium, Blogspot, Substack⌠each place gives the story a different mirror.
Sometimes praise. Sometimes silence. Sometimes friction.
But all of it teaches us something.
So today, more than anything, we just want to thank you.
For opening.
For reading.
For staying.
For giving us a few minutes of your day in a world that is constantly trying to steal your attention.
Youâve helped turn this into more than a Newsletter.
Youâve helped turn it into a living conversation.
And yes, weâd love you to visit our shop and our Blog.
Not because we believe there is only one place to discover ArT Toys, Fine Art Prints, or paintings.
There are many stores out there, many proposals, many ways of collecting, looking, and living with art.
And thatâs a good thing. It means this world is alive.
But if our way of telling stories speaks to you, then our shop is where those stories become objects you can actually live with.
And our blog is where many of those ideas keep growing, mutating, and finding new meaning.
So go where your curiosity pulls you.
Explore what moves you.
Go find the next piece, the next story, the next reason to Dis(Play) who you are.
