Some people study the game.
Some Play the game.
And a few, like James Jarvis, quietly build something so honest…it flips the board.

No gimmicks. No hype.
Just a round head, tight mouth, and a presence that didn’t beg for attention, it demanded it.

It wasn’t just a Toy.
It was an existential vinyl mood.

📌 Before KAWS.
📌 Before the vinyl gold rush.

And still ask Jarvis today and he’ll shrug:

“I never considered myself part of the Art Toy Scene.”

That’s exactly why it matters.

Because maybe the people who don’t try to “be something” end up changing everything.
Because maybe Art Toys lost something when they started chasing hashtags.

If that stings good.
It means you still care.
