(Epicurus, ArT Toys & The Garden That Laughs at Fear)

Subject: The shelf is not against death. It’s against numbness.

Your shelf isn’t fighting death.

It’s fighting numbness.

And yes, there’s a difference.
One is inevitable.
The other is optional.

PART 1 — Two men walk into the void

Schopenhauer walks in like it’s a gothic Netflix original.
Epicurus walks in carrying seeds and a weird calm smile.

Same universe.

Last Sunday’s existential hangover left us with a suspicious thought:
Maybe “the void” isn’t the villain.
Maybe fear is the one doing the real damage.

Schopenhauer says:
“Life swings between suffering and boredom.”

Epicurus says:
“When we are, death is not. When death is, we are not.”

Translation?
Stop auditioning for your own disappearance.

Because most people don’t fear death.
They fear being unnoticed.
Unfelt.
Unremembered.
Like a post that gets zero likes and evaporates.

PART 3 — The Garden wasn’t decoration. It was strategy.

Epicurus didn’t build monuments.
He built a garden.

A system for attention.
A design for living on purpose:
Choose friends.
Choose thoughts.
Choose what gets access to your mind.
